Guests of Beaches Turks & Caicos generally arrive at Providenciales International Airport (PLS). The resort is approximately 6 miles from PLS.
Guests of Beaches Turks & Caicos can enjoy complimentary round-trip transfers with a travel time of about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
For guests traveling from DTW (Detroit), please consider flying on American Airlines with a direct flight from DTW to MIA (Miami) and then a follow up flight form MIA to PLS (Turks & Caicos). There is a significant price decrease using this option.
If you book the two separate flights from DTW to MIA and MIA to PLS, please note the following:
- Please allow at least 4 hours between flights (at MIA).
- You will have to get your luggage at baggage claim and re-check and re-tag your bags again. You will also have to go through security, customs, and immigration while traveling to and from PLS.
- You are welcome to select another airline outside of American Airlines but please keep in mind that the flight from MIA to PLS is most important. Please give yourself ample time to travel through the airport.
